We begin the week with a Lunar Eclipse and a Full Moon, not the easiest of energies to start the work week; if the situations you observe around you seem intense--they are! June is not going to be a light and playful month. It is filled with polarities that require balancing, illusions that need to be dispelled and untenable situations long past their expiration dates. In short, by the end of the month you may very well see a lot of changes in the terrain around you. Monday is a one star day and Tuesday is a three star day with a change of sign from Sagittarius to Capricorn. Buckle up mates, it's going to be a bumpy ride!
Yoga, aerobics, Reiki, aromatherapy, meditation, nutritious food and silent introspection will work well under the energy of the Eclipse and Full Moon in Sagittarius. Full Moon energy occurs when the Moon and Sun are in opposite signs (Gemini and Sagittarius) with the earth sitting between the position of the Moon and Sun; there is a need for balance as opposed to pushing one's own agenda. Do your best to speak with compassion and restraint; avoid the temptation to rush to judgement or to speak harshly--especially if you have planets posited in Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces as your signs are directly involved in the Full Moon energy this month. A Solar Eclipse occurs during a New Moon and our last one occured 20 May 2012 in Gemini; it is a harbinger of new beginnings. Since the Full Moon speaks of culminations, a Lunar Eclipse (which only occurs at the Full Moon) suggests things related to Sagittarian concerns (higher education, long distance travel--or people from or at a distance, publishing interests, the law and religion) are wrapping up. Keep an eye out during the time of the Full Moon and the 48 hours immediately after it as the light of the Full Moon is likely to illuminate something that was previously hidden--again related to Sagittarian topics.
Capricorn is frugal, disciplined, organized and prosperity minded. Conservative clothing and accessories in shades of black, brown, gray or dark green work best with this low key sign. Black amber, bloodstone, carnelian, or diamond are good crystals for Capricorn's business like energy. When you're ready to mull over the day's wins and loses try jasmine, patchouli or musk incense or essential oils.
Monday 4 June 2012 we jump right into the energy of the Full Moon at 4:12 AM (Note: all times indicated are PDT). A square between the Moon and Mars at 7:22 AM suggests tempers may be short--another reason to keep mum and not engage if others are on the war path. The Moon in opposition to Venus at 8:02 AM recommends compromise in love and money matters rather than pushing your own personal agenda. Neptune adds its own hazy, illusive energy to the mix when it begins retrograde motion at 2:05 PM; Neptune won't return to forward motion until 11 November 2012. Film, art, dance, music, photography projects, issues with enemies, institutions or secret projects are all likely to run into snags through the to end of the year--take this into consideration if you have a project in one of these areas in the works--and think long and hard before signing on the dotted line for one.
Venus square Mars at 5:29 PM suggests love is really on the ropes today, so easy does it. Even better--take a powder and leave your loved one some space at this time. You can get some organizational work done when the Moon forms a sextile to Saturn at 6:23 PM, the one ray of light in a really challenging day--and it's work related! An opposition between the Moon and Mercury suggests a late night chat to hash out the days challenges is really not a winning idea--especially when you add that the Moon becomes void of course after this aspect. Try a cool shower or bath, some aromatherapy and call it an early night!
Tuesday 5 June 2012 the intense energy of the full Moon continues for a couple of days after the Full Moon, so you may continue to experience some discomfort with others as you move through your day.
