We have a Full Moon today, so we are now free to move about the cabin again! Start making plans for the goals you have this lunar cycle as well as preparing effective action for their achievement. Sagittarius rules some of the following areas of life experience: charisma, education, confidence, freedom, travel, government, philosophy, honesty, movement and religion. Quite a broad spectrum for the most expansive sign of the zodiac. Now on to the aspects for the day.
Sunday 5 December 2010 begins with the Moon conjoining the Sun at 9:36 AM PST (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PST). This New Moon occurs at nearly 14 degrees of Sagittarius and will impact not only Sagittarians, but anyone who has a planet near 14 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces. The Moon sextile Saturn at 12:16 PM makes it easy to take effective action for organizing pet projects. You will get an added dose of mental power when Mercury conjoins Pluto at 5:22 PM. Today is really a fantastic day for completing important school and work related projects, so don't let these great aspects pass you by.
In addition, Uranus begins direct motion in Pisces at 5:50 PM. You may remember last June/July when Uranus and Jupiter made a short foray into Aries. These two powerful planets will be returning to Aries after the start of the new year. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius natives will benefit from the gifts of sudden change and expansion that Uranus and Jupiter bring in 2011.
In other news Mars and Pluto are preparing to conjoin between now and 13 December. Hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen, because this energy impacts on both the individual and national levels. When the god of war meets the god of death in Capricorn, well let's just say prayers and meditation for peace and safety are in order. Play it safe till after the 13th by avoiding dangerous locations and people.
Our oracle card for this week is the Lizard card from the Medicine Card deck, and considering we are starting a new lunar cycle, I think that it's a great choice. Take some time to run through your goals and imagine how they might turn out. This is Dream Time medicine, giving you a chance to decide which options feel the best and seem to offer the best outcomes. By next week you'll want to begin taking action on those dreams.
Till next time...
