It's official, we're into the New Year! There's something delicious and exciting about the start of a shiny, new year. It's a blank page and we can do anything with it. To keep that feeling alive, why not practice working on some new ways of seeing yourself? I am re-reading the book Frequency by Penney Peirce and I find her insights for hurdling over old habits positive and powerful. Check her out!
Our day offers some tense aspects what with a couple of squares, so I'm calling the weather a three star day. In addition, we are in the dark of the moon, so I'd table any plans for starting new projects just now. Take your pick of self care options: aromatherapy, massage/self-massage, Reiki, crystal therapy or meditation. They are all powerful supports for reminding us to remain in our highest vibratory states. With that being said, it's on to the Celestial weather!
Sunday 2 January 2011 you could be burning up Skype or your iPhone by 6:02 AM when the Moon conjoins perceiver Mercury (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PST). This is great for catching up with loved ones at a distance or banging out a written project that's hanging over your head. You receive a boost in your intuitive/dream work at 5:45 PM when the Moon sextiles Neptune--just remember not to over-indulge in alcohol/drugs at this time, particularly with the next couple of aspects up to bat.
Our squares come late in the day, so if you avoid over indulgences and keep your wallet under lock and key, you should be okay. The Moon squares Jupiter at 5:49 PM (hence the reference to keeping your wallet on lock down), so maybe calling it an early night is best. This isn't the time to paint the town red or to play catch up on chores. People may be feeling volatile and restless and that's due to a square between the Moon and Uranus at 6:08 PM. Have a soothing bath with aromatherapy and lit candles and call it an early night instead of arguing with others--this is especially so since the Moon is void of course after that last aspect.
Our Medicine Card for the week is the Spider! Spider medicine is all about creativity and in Native American lore, the spider is said to have been the creator of mankind's first alphabet. Aspiring and professional writers take note, this is your opportunity to bring a new brainchild into the world. We have a spanking, brand New Moon in Capricorn on Tuesday morning, PLUS a solar eclipse--new things want to be born now. If you've been angling to launch yourself as a writer, catch this wave, baby! More about this coming soon!
