Friday, Saturday & Sunday (25-27 March 2011)

Greetings Friends!

The waning Moon wraps up her transit in broad minded Sagittarius today.  You may find yourself visiting far flung places or have communications with people at a distance today.  Hopefully you will find these experiences stimulating, expansive and enjoyable.  By this evening, we will have a short void of course period before the Moon switches signs to career and ambition oriented Capricorn.  Focus on finding new ways to better align your career path with your personal interests and goals this weekend.  Note:  of the three days in question (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), today has a tiny edge, but all three days earn only about three stars--translation: now will be a good time for self-care work!

Capricorn is a logical, conservative sign, so stick to brown, black, dark blue, dark green or gray clothing.  Black amber, bloodstone, diamond and jet are just a few of the crystals that harmonize with the serious energy of Capricorn.  And if you find time to meditate, you might want to try some jasmine, musk or patchouli incense to help you relax!

Friday 25 March 2011 begins with a trine between the Moon and Mercury at 5:25 AM (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT).  Take the time to handle key communications before you get out the door this morning as it should be quick and painless to do so.   Slow down and leave emotional bullies to stew in their own juices when the Moon squares Mars at 8:08 AM.  Plan an early intimate dinner with someone special this evening when the Moon forms a sextile with Venus at 4:02 PM.  Afterward,  take in a concert or movie in order to get the most mileage from a sextile between the Moon and Neptune at  6:25 PM; just remember the Moon is void of course briefly till 6:57 PM when it enters Capricorn.  Dust off your goal and action plan lists; now is the time to make tracks on key career opportunities!  The Moon squares Uranus at 8:26 PM which augurs the possibility of a sudden upset, so brace for impact at this time.

Saturday 26 March 2011 brings the Last Quarter phase of this lunar cycle when the Moon squares the Sun at 5:07 AM.  Now is the time to do your after action report for this cycle.  If your goals weren't achieved this time around, look at new ways to reach your targets and prepare new plans for the next lunar cycle.  Metaphysical studies, therapy, meditation and research projects benefit from the monthly Moon conjunction with Pluto at 8:48 AM.  Spiritual retreats, religious programs, concerts, as well as art museum and art gallery events will be uplifting and inspiring when Venus conjoins Neptune at 6:40 PM.  It will be important to keep expenditures in line when the Moon squares Jupiter at 9:01 PM. The Moon squares Saturn at 10:04 PM suggesting possible challenges with partners that may be difficult to resolve for now.  Venus moves into Pisces at 11:53 PM adding a tinge of mystery and secrecy to love and money matters as we near the end of March 2011.

Sunday 27 March 2011 offers only two aspects and they both occur rather late in the day.  The first aspect, a square between the Moon and Mercury at 4:00 PM brings challenges around the issue of communications.  Misunderstandings and errors are likely so check and double check dates, times, etc.  This is especially so since we're in a Mercury retrograde shadow period; Mercury becomes retrograde officially on the 30th of March.  A sextile between the Moon and Mars offers the possibility of a little night music for couples or barring that option, an evening jaunt to the gym to burn off some extra energy before hitting the sack in preparation for the work week ahead.  Either option gives a positive use to some awkwardly timed extra Mars energy!

Since this weekend brings a focus to career and business concerns, you might want to check out a cool book by Jennifer Lee, 'The Right Brain Business Plan'.  This is business planning for the rest of us, especially those of us with a distinct right brained tendency.  I'm sure you will fall in love with Jennifer's cool tips and tools for creating a stellar business plan that rocks!  Here is the link to Jennifer's website Artizen Coaching and you can just click the Amazon link to the right for more information on her fabulous book!

And till next time...

Rich Blessings!
