Wednesday & Thursday (15-16 June 2011)

Greetings Friends!

Brace for impact as today is the day of the Full Moon with a side order of lunar eclipse to boot.  Everything may look bigger than big at this point--big ideas, big challenges, big philosophical issues, but we have the right stuff to deal with all of it.  The Moon is transiting through Sagittarius Wednesday, but shifts to Capricorn late in the day, changing our mood to one of largess to one of careful self-discipline and focus.

First things first, Wednesday is the last day for you to subscribe to this blog, leave a comment and be entered into this month's reading giveaway--so don't forget to take care of that.  And next Tuesday is the beginning of the Soul Spackle re-launch--click the banner to the right for details about the coming giveaways (including a free 30-minute reading with me!) so you can land some serious swag.

The Moon moves into Capricorn at 10:59 PM PDT Wednesday, something all earth Sun sign natives will benefit from.  Our focus switches from the larger than life issues of religion, philosophy, the law, and exotic ports of call to ambition, career and public image.  You'll want to press forward with career concerns for the next couple of days and look sharp so wear your best black, dark blue, dark gray or brown suits to impress!  The Full Moon energy can be calmed with some meditation, why not try some musk, patchouli, or jasmine incense while you quiet your mind and see what Spirit has to say?  Try wearing obsidian, jet, black amber or amethyst stones to keep your energy field balanced and positive.

Wednesday 15 June 2011 is a zero star day folks, so meditation, exercise, aromatherapy and Reiki to calm frazzled nerves are all in order.  Full Moons are ordinarily challenging, what with the energy being high  at this point in a lunar cycle, but we have a lunar eclipse to boot.  The energies from this Full Moon will be with us till November thru December--when we have our next eclipses.

The first aspect up to bat is the Full Moon and it clocks in at 1:14 PM PDT (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT).  The Full Moon is at 24 degrees of Sagittarius, so if you have planets in late Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces you are in the hot seat this month!  The Sagittarian issues of dealings with foreigners, religion, legal issues, publishing, and distribution, etc. will be in focus with this Full Moon.  You may hear a lot of talk about really big possibilities--since Sagittarian energy is really, really big!  Just whether or not that energy comes into physical manifestation remains to be seen.  The latter half of 2011 is likely to be bumpy--and the first half was no joke, so batten down the hatches.  If 1992 was a fairly easy year for you, then you may escape the challenges this lunar eclipse will illicit.

The only other aspect of the day is an opposition between Mercury and the Moon at 8:31 PM and then the Moon is void of course.  Difficulties with communications, transportation or technology may flare up.   So again, taking time for self-care rituals is going to be important for sailing through this Full Moon day with as little difficulty as possible.  Keep in mind the void of course Moon and delay launching new endeavors until after 10:59 PM when the Moon enters Capricorn.

Thursday 16 June 2011 is a three star day and the Full Moon energy will have lessened somewhat, but will still be relatively high.  An inspiring sextile between the Moon and Neptune at 0:32 AM may lend the gift of insightful dreams, so be prepared with pen and paper at your bedside to capture new ideas.  Good fortune sails into view when the Moon trines Jupiter at 3:04 AM, but your morning may still be rocky when the Moon squares Uranus at 6:35 AM.  Be prepared for shocks, surprises, problems with electrical equipment--these are some of the possible challenges that come with that last aspect.  Powerful energies for transformation are available to you when the Moon conjoins Pluto at 10:23 AM, so work with healing modalities or metaphysical studies could pay off big time!

Mercury enters the sign of home and family (Cancer) at 12:09 PM, so we can expect increased focus around issues of our homes, Mom's/Dad's and security concerns for the well being of our family.  Moon square Saturn at 5:24 PM brings restrictions and challenges from partners with no easy way to resolve them.  Practice patience.  Soaring insights, both creative and inspired are possible when Mercury trines Neptune at 9:53 PM; be ready to capture these special visions before you end your day.

I think that's more than enough, phew!  Take good care during this Full Moon phase and till next time...

Rich Blessings,
Dee
