Happy Full Moon Friends!
This year's Harvest Moon arrives today in Pisces--and it's a one star day. The Moon enters Aries late this evening, but tomorrow the vibe is the same, for Tuesday is a one star day too. Do what you can to make time for meditation, Qi Gong, Reiki and other self-care modalities if at all possible as we begin the work week; your extra care will help lessen some of more challenging effects of the Full Moon energy.

All water signs have been enjoying the Moon's transit through Pisces, though the rising energy of the Full Moon may have made just about everybody feel tense. The shift to an Aries Moon brings our focus back to our personal concerns and shifts the energy to one with a faster pace. Break out your red, pink, white and scarlet outfits and slip on some amethyst, bloodstone, carnelian or diamond jewelry. Some meditation with copal, dragon's blood or cinnamon incense will help align you to the fast pace of the Aries Moon.
Monday 12 September 2011 begins with the Full Moon at 2:27 AM (19 degrees of Pisces); note that all times in this blog are PDT. If you have planets at or about 19 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius you may find the energy of this Full Moon challenging. An energizing trine between the Moon and Mars at 4:17 PM allows you to finish up your work day with vim and vigor. The Moon is void of course after that aspect, so avoid starting new projects until the Moon changes signs. An opposition between the Moon and Venus at 6:45 PM suggests you compromise where love and money matters are concerned.
The Moon moves into Aries at 11:49 PM, so let your focus shift to your personal needs and wants. You'll have about two more days to ride the wave of the Full Moon, see if you can get some of your personal matters taken care of in that time.
Tuesday 13 September 2011 begins with shock jock Uranus meeting up with the Moon at 5:59 AM, so don't be surprised if your neighbors behave in an unruly manner or you have an early morning phone call. There is also the possibility that you'll be awakened by a bizarre dream or with some wild creative idea. Either way, it's likely to be a somewhat jarring start to the day. If your boss is cranky or some other VIP is making you nuts, chalk it up to the square between the Moon and Pluto at 9:38 AM. Try and keep a low profile until the challenging energy dissolves and you'll be aspect free for the remainder of the day.
The Full Moon has a tendency to create challenges, arguments and tension. If you find you have concerns during this period and would like to discuss them with me, schedule your personal consultation with me here. I wish you a smooth ride through the energy of the Harvest Moon and till next time...
