Astrology Predictions for Friday thru Sunday (25-27 May 2012)

Greetings Friends!

The work week comes to a close with the waxing Moon entering sunny Leo; those of you living in the U.S. can plan on enjoying a long weekend focused on creative or romantic interests.  Friday is a two star day with a lengthy void of course period, Saturday is a five star day and Sunday is a four star day with a change of sign late in the evening.

Fire sign natives receive the biggest boost from this weekend's Moon transit through Leo.  Focus on issues of self-confidence, self-promotion, recognition or pleasure trips this weekend and you'll be in alignment with the energies for Leo's sunny energy.  Shades of gold, green, red or orange as well as rose quartz, tiger's eye, peridot, or amber crystals work well with the Moon in Leo transit.  Amber, copal, frankincense, myrhh or sandalwood incense are all excellent choices this weekend whether  for self-care work or a cozy rendezvous just for two.

Friday 25 May 2012 the Moon squares Saturn at 2:44 AM; you may need to burn the midnight oil to meet obligations that have come due (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT).  A feeling of optimism lightens your load when the Moon sextiles Jupiter at 7:34 AM.  The Moon is void of course until 3:11 PM, so postpone starting new projects until that time.  Difficulties in communications occur when the Moon squares Neptune at 2:38 PM; if you can't get the answers you need, it may be best to postpone making agreements until a later time.  You'll have a better shot at achieving clear communications when the Moon sextiles Mercury at 10:32 PM.

Saturday 26 May 2012 the Moon and Sun form a sextile at 1:41 AM giving you the intuitive insight necessary to take effective action on your key goals and concerns.  You might want to awaken a bit early to take advantage of the trine between the Moon and Uranus at 5:44 AM; ingenious ideas will be ripe for the picking at that time.

Sunday 27 May 2012 the Sun conjoins Mercury at 4:20 AM bringing a burst of creativity to your written or verbal projects.  Love and money are singing a happy tune when the Moon sextiles Venus at 6:57 AM; if you'd like to whip things into shape, organize and plan your key projects when the Moon sextiles Saturn at 11:07 AM.  More creative communication possibilities occur to you when Mercury forms a sextile to Uranus at 4:37 PM.  You'll be feeling the desire to be uber positive when the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter, however, it's probably best to reign in your spending and your expectations at this time.

  1. I don't understand your rankings. You call Saturday a 5 star day, but it has no aspects! I would think a ***** day would have a fat trine between Venus and Jupiter or something. What makes Saturday so great?

  2. My ranking is based on the number of challenging aspects (there are none for Saturday) and whether or not there is a lengthy void of course period (which would make much of the day null and void for initiating new projects). The system is designed for those who don't know a lot about astrology and are looking for a way to gauge the likelihood of success for their daily activities. While a big fat trine between Venus and Jupiter could mean pleasure--it could also mean over doing it financially or having overly optimistic expectations in love. Sometimes a more balanced, less challenging aspect filled day is all one needs to have a good day.
